Exploration Drilling

Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling is becoming increasingly popular in certain parts of the world such as North America, Australia, Latin America and Africa.

This is due to increased penetration rates and cost savings compared to more traditional diamond drilling. Reverse Circulation was initially used for bores up to 300 meters in depth, but drilling companies are continually looking to achieve deeper bores with increased penetration rates.

Mincon Carbide offer grades of diverse toughness and hardness to match the ground conditions that dictate where premature breakage or wear are the major issue.

Along with offering different geometrical profiles and base designs we also work with drill bit manufacturers to meet their design requirements both in deep exploration and grade control operations.
